The project «KIA - Kreativ Interaksjon i arbeidslivet » (Creative Interaction in the Workplace), developed methods relevant to the cross-fertilization of artistic creativity within the development of the economy in the region. The key issue of the project was to explore and exploit the growing role of creativity in the regions economy. The creative power inherent in the cultural sector promoted new ideas and brought new perspectives into the industry which contributed to innovation and strengthened the economic competitiveness in the region. Achievements: The result of the project was a Scandinavian model of innovation alliances and metrics that ensure the quality of the work. In the long-term, this strengthen sustainable development in the region. It also generate a more creative, innovation-rich work environment in the area and at the same time attract more artists to work in these new arenas.
