Project Kingdom of the TREE - nature, ecology and creativity in youth work is an international training course which aims to equip its participants in techniques and methodologies connected to ecology, nature and creativity, which they can used in their work with young people. We will invite 24 participants from partner organisations from following countries: Poland, Spain (Galicia), Slovakia, Lithuania and France. Those will be youth workers, youth leaders, youth trainers, educators, people who are directly working with youth and who have potential to use new competences and inspiration they will gain during the training in they work back home.Training course will start on 17.10.2016 and finish on 23.10.2016. It will take place in Jicin in Czech Republic in very magic community place: Valdstejnska Lodzie, which creates perfect learning environment.Our main topic will be to work with nature, to get to know different methods, techniques of how to work with natural elements (wood, stones, herbs, plants) in creative way. We will focus on idea of comming back to roots, understanding nature and ekosytem better. Therefore we will deal as well with ecology in wider context, in connection to individuals responsibility for its environement, in connection to sustainable development, and our collective responsibility as human beings towards nature. During our training experience team of trainers will facilitate learning process while using non formal education methods: teambuilding activities, activities supporting networking, interactive discussions. Additinaly we will invite experts in different natural techniques who will run workshops for participants. We want participants to have chance to use new gained skills, that is why we want to invite them to contribute to local event: Celebration of the tree, during which they will be able to get to know our way of working, but mainly to use in practice new techniques with young people who will visit Lodzie during this event.Therefore main project structure will be: building group - connecting to topic (and exchange of approces / good practicies from different countries) - learning new methods and tools - using them in practice - evaluating and planning follow ups.During the training we will as well create video with universal language of pictures and sounds, which will show other youth workers and educators the way in which they can learn from nature, the way they can use it in their educational programmes. This short video will be disseminated online through our facebook and facebook and websites of our partner organisations.
