With this 12-months European Voluntary Service Christina Dopasoglu receives the possibilty to support the work of the kindergarten in XYLOKASTRO, Greece. She will support the team of the kindergarten with the daily work. Christina already gained some experiences in working with people with disabilities and is really interested in extending her experiences in working with people, especially with children. Except of some holidays she never had the possibility to stay and live in another country before. With this project she will have the possibility to gain international experiences and get to know a new country, a new culture and new language. Furthermore she will gain new competences in working with children and have the possibility to bring in own ideas. She will widen her competences in working in a team and make international experiences by getting in touch with other international volunteers.Christina will widen her knowledge about Europe. She will get in touch with many young people. This project offers the volunteer, the Hosting and Coordinating organization as well as the local society and the other volunteers and all other people who will get in touch with Christina during her EVS in XYLOKASTRO the possibility to get to know new cultures and to think about the integration of other cultures and the situation of other cultures/countries, especially within Europe.
