The project "When teaching(learning) brings joy" builds on the previous experience of the institution and its teaching staff in education. The project aims to enable teachers attend courses abroad for the purpose of getting to know European trends in teaching of music, English language and human resource management. The training courses will be attended by five members of the school staff. All of them are responsible teachers who care about their professional growth then used in preparing pupils for their further studies and good relationships with the school management. The mobility participants will attend courses in the field of music (Course for European Teachers of Music), English (Refresher Course - Methodology for Secondary Teachers, Language and Methodology Refresher (Secondary/Adult), CLIL: Content & Methodology for Secondary Teachers) and in the assessment and quality assurance of education and training (Evaluation and Quality Assurance in education and training). The teachers were selected based on their personal motivation and interest to acquire new skills. the in-house team of teaching staff along with the National Agency will also participate in the project. The results of the projects are the new school educational program, teaching plans, pedagogical training, choir performances with a new more demanding repertoire, more motivating, more interesting and emore ffective lessons of foreign languages, demonstrate, test and prove new methods and assessment tools and new contacts. The anticipated impacts of the project are enhanced teaching of music and foreign languages by introducing innovative elements, ideas, activities, games, humor, songs; changes in the management of the institution set in motion; more extensive vocabulary for the mobility participants, a significant improvement in their confidence in communicating using a foreign language, learning about other countries; establishing contacts with foreign partners, the emergence of new prospective friendships, exchange of experiences and knowledge with participants from other countries. The long-term benefits of the project include increasing the prestige of the school in Slovakia and abroad.
