1. Information about the Project„Everyone can be successful” is a project created by the group of teachers from school, situated in a small town Wleń. There are about 5000 people in the borough. This project was introduced by the teachers who want to change Polish education. They suggest to go away from traditional ways of teaching in order to improve the concept of Multiple Intelligence education. Success is the key word in the title of the project, which involves students, parents and teachers. It’s a success of students because they have a chance to improve their multiple intelligences. It’s a parents’ success because their children will not cause behavioral problems. Finally it’s the teachers’ success because their job activities are focused to supporting their development, not struggle with lack of motivation.2. Detailed aims of the project and the ways of realization• Introducing such methods, tools and arrangement of the school area that will develop the students’ individual talents and their intelligence• Enhancement of language competence among teachers will encourage students to use the foreign language not only on English or German lessons but also other subjects.• Opening the Alternative Educational Centre which contributes to enrichment of educational offer for the branch of our school, located in a small village in Pilchowice, which is threatened by population decline.Methods of achieving our aims:• Participation in language courses• Participation in methodological courses• Equipping with didactic tools and arrangement of places where children spend most of the time at school (halls, classrooms, common rooms)• Creating programs of extra lessons• Introducing pedagogical innovations to conduct different lessons using foreign languages• Practical activities outdoor (fishing, horse riding, sailing, forest education) according to the program of Alternative Educational Centre.3. Number and profile of participantsThere will be 15 teachers in the project including the head teacher, deputy head teacher, group of primary education teachers, group of teachers of science, mathematics, history, art, English, librarian and education counselor. All the teachers are ready and open for changes in teaching and raising children. All of them declare the will to raise the competence in English language.4. Description of activities1. Improving of English language skills of teachers by taking part in language courses in Poland.2. Participating in a language course in Malta.3. Participating of personnel management in a Multiple Intelligences Education Course in Austria.4. Participating of group of primary teachers in a Games and Fun Course in Malta.5. Participating of teachers in an Entrepreneurship Course in Malta6. Elaboration and introduction of the new offer extra curriculum classes during the next few years.7. Implementation of individual programs and pedagogical innovations.8. Equipping the school area for education, relaxation needs of children based on observation of schools which have already introduced and practiced the concept of Multiple Intelligences education.9. Implementation of English language on other subjects such as science, art, primary education or history.10. Opening the offer of Alternative Education Centre for schools in Poland and abroad.5. Effects of the project1. The school will join the association of schools which put the theory of H. Gardner into educational practice2. Teachers will improve their qualifications in the field of:- methods of teaching according to the assumptions of multiple intelligence education- creating tools for early diagnosis of multiple intelligence among children3. Teachers will use their English at school as well as in direct contacts connected with the project.4. School will arrange a new and innovative environment for pupils – places and rooms designed for developing their activities, recreation and education according to the rules of multiple intelligence.5. Our school will offer a wide range of interesting extra lessons.6. There will be created new lessons’ programs involving English in different subjects.6. Long-term effects of the project1. School will exchange the experience with others schools in Poland and abroad which use in teaching methods drawn on the theories of H. Gardner2. Thanks to the innovative ways of teaching and friendly and attractive equipment, it will be possible to gain new students from the neighborly boroughs.3. The Centre of Alternative Education, located in Pilchowice as a branch of the main school, will be offering an unique program of education, which certainly is supposed to be very useful for many schools in Poland and abroad.4. The Centre of Alternative Education will contributed to a long-term development of the school in Pilchowice, whose functioning is currently threatened with a population decline.
