Training program on “applications of modern technology in the service of health and wellness” concerns modern technological applications and methods developed for the purpose of assimilation of health and wellness centers. The great development of technology constantly opens new horizons and makes it possible to easily complete tests that previously required specialized laboratories and scientific staff as well as support processes to achieve better and faster results.
Today applications for monitoring vital signs with adhesive sensors, monitoring devices of performance and fitness in athletic activity, fat measurement devices and analysis of metabolism, support devices of fitness for improving outcomes, using ultrasound for application in adipose tissues as well as numerous others, can contribute significantly to improving services in health centers and wellness with natural impact on increasing competitiveness and customer benefit.
The educational needs of the members of the Association that arise from the current trends of the area and are directly linked to the needs of the labor market are:
• Updating and improving services,
• Study and analysis of physical condition,
• Exploiting the possibilities offered by existing infrastructure,
• Greater specialization provided by the program,
• Expand options depending on the desired results,
• Adoption of new methods and applications,
• Information and guidance whenever there are more specific requirements
The proposal is oriented and is designed primarily to enrich and update the knowledge of participants on issues related to new technologies in the field of health and wellness. Acquiring this knowledge will contribute to the overall improvement of the level of service. Through the implementation of the project beneficiaries are to gain valuable experience and important skills that will help them cope with the current market requirements. Under this strategy the central aim of the project is the implementation of training to selected foreign institutions, so parties belonging to the above undertakings, acquire new knowledge and skills that will open up new perspectives on their business.
This action will have multiplier effects and benefits both for participants and actors involved, as it will lay the foundations for future networking and collaboration. This adds value to the task because it creates an environment where apart from skill development and acquisition of new knowledge for the beneficiaries, a European environment of collaborations is created between partners in a positive impact on the profile of each participant in the project organization.
The total project duration is 15 days and will be held in Spain in the region of Galicia that is known for its modern facilities in health tourism with the participation of 25 beneficiaries from 07/10/2014 to 21/10/2014.
Prospective beneficiaries in the mobility are business operators who are responsible for human resources from member companies of the Association.
The proposal has taken into account all the conditions laid down in the European Charter for Mobility.
