There are several castles and mansions situated on the target area, formed by Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county and Kosicky county, these castles having close relations with historical families. Nowadays, as part of the historical heritage, they have become an important tourism attraction, especially for the tourists showing interest for history. These facts make possible to develop in the future the castles and mansions into an important tourism destination of the area. The objectives on their own have scarce marketing possibilities, but integrating them into a coherent and well defined network may generate serious marketing results for castle owners/administrators as well as for the whole regions tourism activity. We proposed to integrate these castles into a coherent network, marketing them as a whole and to form a tourism product out of them for the envisaged target area. Achievements: There are several castles and mansions situated in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg county and Košice county as part of the historical heritage. They have become important tourist attractions, which creates the possibility to integrate these castles into a coherent network, to market them as a whole and to create a tourism product out of them. The project\'s main activities include data collection in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg and Košice counties, creating a DVD-film, creating a new website with the aim of helping the establishment of an appropriate and sustainable touristic product.
