Mobility-project with 5 Staffmembers of Tabora vzw en Leerwerkplaats Garage vzw - Non-formal education Center
1° Contacts with various LAG's (Local Action Group) and the Estonian Leader Union, in order to get a better understanding of their
way of working, in particular their approach to develop, expand and finance the region via local cooperation according to the
demand of the local actors.
Which elements are a surplus to us and how can we get going?
2° Seminars at the University of Tallin "Adult Education"
During the Mobility-project we will follow seminars and discuss the following topics/items:
- Methods in teaching Adults
- Training and Project Management
- Adult Educations's Social Skills
Which vision do they develop?
What is the content of this education?
How can we apply these elements to set up an equal (similar) education for our "non-formal education"?
How are alumni involved into the development of the various regions together with the LAG's?
3° Language-courses:
In Estonia people speak 3 languages: Estonian, Russian and Finnish. Many people also speak English.
The Education system count only 9 compulsory years (from 7 to 16 years old).
How are language courses organized? Are LAG's used to organize these courses?
4° "Credit-points"
How does the "credit-points-system" work in Estonia?
How can credit-points be earned?
What are the opportunities for further studies and/or employment?
How does this correspond with other EU-countries?
5° Curricula
How do they develop the curricula in the sectors of Training and Education? What is the function and the influence of the LAG's?
What is the value of the earned Certificates and Diploma's?
6° What are their proposals, drafted in 2012, in regard to early drop-outs, although school is compulsory for 9 years?
What do they about the gap between low and high educated people?
What about their opportunities of employment?
7° For Estonia it is very important to help preserve and revive traditional village life, and to boost its harmonious development,
to support village economy, folk culture and nature conservation and to unite different associations of village movements.
How can they, within this give framework of traditions and folklore, create employment opportunities for youngsters?
