"Just normally different!" is a multilateral youth exchange taking place in Kunfehértó, Hungary. It will place theatre as means for communication but also synonymon for music, dance, art, movement, comittment and dialogue - so to speak as instrument for the integration of disadvantaged people - in the centre. Our theatre company will consist of 30 physically and mentally handicapped as well as chronically ill young people from Hungary, Poland, Italy, Spain and Turkey. Step by step they will grow into their roles as, requisitors, stage and custome setters during the 12 days exchange. An actor's casting, group work, joint ensemble and costume rehearsals, but also discussions and conversations, the National Evenings and excursions will support them in this process. Through their presence on the real theatre stage they will be finally able to express their interests and needs and to sensitise the audience for the European values equal opportunities, cultural diversity and integration. Other young people will be motivated to imitate the project. The distribution of the products created through the project, such as a DVD with the theatre play, a Making of ... and a SWOT analysis underline the European dimension and contribute in the long-term to the European added value.
