The main objective of the project is to increase Synergies and Co-operation in the economies by developing competitiveness of SMEs, creating joint structures by maximizing cross-border impact, development of the Hungarian and Serbian enterprises involved in the project by innovative knowledge transfer, increasing the number of cross-border business contacts between enterprises and their joint Co-operation for strengthening Export Capabilities on the third markets. The main activities of the project are: Entrepreneurial SURVEY of the possibilities and elaborate the STUDY, GUIDE preparation for the knowledge dissemination, implement WORKSHOPS and inform people through CONFERENCES and Publicities. The project duration is 16 months and the location is on Hungarian side: Szeged, Csongrád County and South Great Plain region of Hungary and on Serbian side: Subotica, North Bácska Region and Province of Vojvodina.he main target groups benefiting from the project are Entrepreneurs and SMEs within Cross-border Region of Hungary and Serbia. The expected and most important outputs to be realized and results to be achieved are: implemented Survey and elaborated Study at CSMKIK and at RPKSU, Guide of joint SMEs Co-operation for strengthening Export Capability, Implemented Workshops with the 60 participation, Bilingual Leaflet, 500 pcs project promotional material in 3 languages, Carried out promotional campaign on the Hungarian and Serbian side of the border (1-1 press conference, radio and TV interviews, PR articles in newspapers), Results: Number of entities involved in new contact related: 30 HU and SRB SMEs, Workshops Participants successfully informed with improved skills: 60 HU and SRB entrepreneurs. Cross-border impact: Surveys, Studies and events will be involved in the whole cross-border region and will include participants from both sides of the border, close cooperation of Chambers. Achievements: The main objective of the project was to increase synergies and cooperation between the economies by improving SME competitiveness, create joint structures by maximising cross-border impact, develop the Hungarian and Serbian enterprises involved in the project through innovative knowledge transfer, increase the number of cross-border business contacts between enterprises and their joint cooperation in order to strengthen export capabilities to third markets. The main activities of the project were an entrepreneurial survey of the possibilities, an elaborated study, a guide for entrepreneurs, workshops and conferences. The project partners created a bilingual leaflet and project promotional material in 3 languages, and carried out a promotional campaign on the Hungarian and Serbian sides of the border. During the programme, several companies from the banking sector, insurance and construction industries embarked on cross-border cooperation, and further results are expected. In order to promote their activities to the general public the partners prepared a documentary film about the project and distributed brochures highlighting their objectives. The elaborated studies of this project are very important strategic documents, which could greatly help the formation of a competitive and progressive region along the Hungarian–Serbian border.
