The overall goal of the project is to enable enhanced capacity for cross-country cooperation and interaction between and within the participating universities by providing high quality Wi-Fi system and IP streaming system for the students, professors and researchers at the University of Debrecen and ÜPolitehnica" University of Timisoara, aiming at supporting the synchronization of educational, research and development, and other scientific activities of the cooperating universities. The main activities of the project are: the implementation of exterior/interior Wi-Fi-LAN connectivity subsystem, the implementation of active exterior Wi-Fi Hot-Zones and the implementation of streaming subsystem. The direct target group is formed by students and teaching staff of the universities: 43246 students, 2074 teachers (within the direct target group can be identify further well definable groups of beneficiaries: researchers, students, university co-workers working on common partner projects- 12, students and teachers with laptops, smart phones -10.800, students and workers participating in common cultural and sports events; PUT, UD students of European EDUROAM system - 32.300, Library membership - 39.500; Teachers regularly teaching "cross border" - 16). Expected Results: Among the project results: 1 IT network/system developed, 8 research meetings with video conferences, 6 cross-border events supported by network infrastructure.
