Creating an efficient Monitoring and alarming system in case of disaster (MASD) in the crossborder area Giurgiu-Ruse. This system will generate a series of flood risk maps based on field data (GIS) and potential evolution of the risk factors (forecasting), and an efficient alarming system by the acquisition and deployment of sirens. Better rescue and intervention capabilities by the acquisition of specific equipments (boats, vehicle). - Providing real time, easy to access information and updates for all the involved authorities and for the general public via a bilingual web portal. - Developing joint activities for information and training in the field of efficient management of emergency situations
