Our KA project wil be to send two teachers to get acquainted with the partner school, Blewbury primary school in England. Its approaches to learning and teaching in different subjects and its experiences in various Comenius projects will be the main interests. Participants will be able to strenghten their own teacher identity and discuss, compare and develop new learning and teaching methodologies Our partner school will also send two teachers to our school. During the visits the teachers and pupils will gain valuable information about other European educational system and culture. The teachers and pupils also have an opportunity to strenghten their skills in English language. The participants will have a chance to learn from others. Our school has not been taken part in a Comenius project before and we expect that our KA1 project will equip us with practical advice as relates to planning and carrying out our future KA2 project in 2015. KA1 project will bring the missing European dimension to our school. We also wish to create contacts to other European schools via our partner school. The longer term benefits will be great in the form of increased internationalization of our school. We expect the KA1 project to speed our plans to start up a wider international project. We aim to start up a KA2 project with several European partners involving pupil mobilities in 2015. In addition we aim to develop our teaching methodologies and strategies into such direction which would prepare our pupils to face the future challenges as independent, courageus and active European citizens.
