Title of the project - "Foreign languages - teaching with innovation an passion"Objectives of the project: • to develop teaching methods and techniques,• to practice language in an English or German-speaking country,• to expand cultural knowledge of English and German-speaking countries,• to explore and reflect on the aspects of EU countries,• to acquire partners for a school exchange,• to encourage students to learn foreign languages, • to promote EU funding of teacher trainings.Number of participants: 2Participant’s profile: • a Polish teacher of German with 15 years of teaching experience, • a Polish teacher of English with 13 years of teaching experience. Initiative description:• Participation in in-service trainings abroad, in Austria, Spain, Scotland, England, Ireland – (5 courses altogether) • Job-shadowing in a language school in TenerifeMethods used during the project:• audio-visual methods (modern technologies and ICT)• individual work and group work with innovative materials enhancing teaching foreign languages• practice and knowledge in a multi-cultural context• exchange of pedagogical information and experience in teaching Expected benefits of the project:• Enriching teaching experience with new methods and techniques,• Increasing the European level of school functioning,• Improving fluency in German and English,• Motivating students to learn foreign languages,• Organising the project of international students exchange,• Reinforcing the attitude of openness towards other cultures.
