Jelgava Technical school cooperating with the Italian professional education competence centrs "Enaip Lombardia" is implementing the project "Jelgava Technical school students and teachers in the development of professional competencies in the curriculum" Woodwork Manufacturing '' whose main objective is to strengthen the Jelgava Technical school Education Programme "Woodwork manufacturing", providing an opportunity to learn advanced technology-based carpenter profession. The project will provide an opportunity to develop educational programs and acquire practical skills of the Italian woodworking enterprises 14 students and 2 teachers, as well as strengthen cooperation with the vocational training centers of competence "Enaip Lombardia". The project direct target group members is Jelgava Technical school education program "Woodwork manufacturing": 1. The third and fourth course 14 students who are learning the furniture carpenter profession; 2. The two teachers who provide theoretical and practical training in the curriculum. The project is intended to implement the following activities: Project activity: "Improvement of professional experience of 14 students from Jelgava Technical school carpentry profession in vocational education competence center" Enaip Lombardia ""; Project activity: "Improvement of professional experience of 2 teachers from Jelgava Technical School in vocational education competence center" Enaip Lombardia ""; Project activity: "Educational programs" Woodwork manufacturing "development"; Project activity: "Project administration and management." Implementation of the project Jelgava Technical school 14 students and two teachers will be able to develop their professional skills and to integrate them in the learning process as well as to improve the educational program "Woodwork manufacturing". Planned implementation period is 12 months, students and teachers provided the mobility duration is two weeks in Italy. With project achieved results and lessons of professional skills will be introduced to the rest of Jelgava Technical school students, teachers and other interested persons.
