The project “Jak zostać mistrzem zawodu – nowoczesne staże w Hiszpanii” will be implemented in Zespół Szkół im. Prezydenta Ignacego Mościckiego in Zielonka for 12 female participants and 33 male participants learning in the following professions:1. Hotel service – 15 participants (8 women, 7 men)2. Renewable energy specialist – 10 participants (10 men)3. IT specialist – 10 participants (4 women, 6 men)4. Electrician – 10 participants (10 men)The main aims of the project:1. To increase the effectiveness and quality of practical training in the school.2. To improve internship participants’ professional skills which are in demand for today’s job market.3. To improve the participants’ language skills, including technical terminology.4. To enable the participants to get acquainted with the functioning of the workplace on the European market.5. To improve participants’ employment prospects on the European market.6. To strengthen participants’ self-esteem and their self-confidence by broadening horizons and establishing international relations.7. To strengthen social development of weak students and students from poor socio-economic backgrounds.8. To develop students’ interpersonal skills needed in the workplace.9. To develop intercultural competence.10. Personal development of internship participants.Students enrolled in the project will participate in the following courses:1. Spanish language course (20 teaching hours), in order to learn elementary and technical vocabulary which will help them communicate.2. Cultural training course (8 teaching hours), in order to learn about Spanish culture.After finishing the courses students will take part in the internship in Granada and Cordoba.Foreign partner will organise all aspects of participants’ residency in Spain such as accommodation, professional places for the internship, tutoring, and rich cultural program.We assume to achieve the following results:1. The school will improve the quality of vocational training.2. 10 women and 26 men will improve their professional skills which are in demand for today’s job market.3. 10 women and 26 men will improve their language skills, including technical terminology.4. 12 women and 33 men will get acquainted with the functioning of the workplace on the European market.5. All participants will improve their employment prospects on the European market.6. 12 women and 33 men will strengthen their self-esteem.7. 80% of all participants will strengthen their social development.8. 12 women and 33 men will develop their interpersonal skills.9. 12 women and 33 men will develop their intercultural competence.10. All participants will notice their personal development.The project “Jak zostać mistrzem zawodu – nowoczesne staże w Hiszpanii” will have an impact on its participants, the school, local and school community, local employers and authorities, and other subjects in the country and the European Union.
