Project title: "How to build (your own future) in an European way - new solutions in reinforcement technology."The beneficiary of the project is a goup of 19 students from Zespół Szkól w Różanie Technikum im. Jana Pawła II who study the construction and building techniques. They were selected by the recuitment commission, which analysed thoroughly the degree of meeting the established criteria.In autumn 2016 the students together with two teachers will go to Frankfurt/Oder in Germany, one of the three training centres belonging to BFW, that is the institution for promoting vocational education for constructing industry of Berlin and Brandenburg. The students will take part in two-weeks vocational training course under the care of highly qualified instructors. The participants of the project will have the possibility to gain new knowledge especially about reinforced concrete, making formwork and strengthening the construction.Thanks to the project the young students from Zespół Szkół w Różanie will acquire new interpersonal competence, cooperative skills, and will improve their knowledge about history and culture of Germany. They will also have an opportunity to experience the meeting the representatives of a foreign country, to learn how to deal with stress and difficult situations. The participants will become more self-dependent, active and confident in different every day circumstances.In addtitions to the training course the students will have the possibility to get aquainted with the country of our western neighbours by sightseeing tours to Frankfurt, Berlin and a relaxing visit to Tropical Islands.The vocational training course in Frankfurt will be introduced with preparation courses such as linguistic, cultural and historical course, as well as pedagogical sessions.All planned activities will focus on the following objectives:1. New techniques and solutions in reinforcement technology will be learnt and adapted.2. The participants will get new professional experience outside their country, which allow qualifications and competence become better recognised in Europe.3. Language skills in both general and professional German will be improved.4. The project will increase and equalise the educational chances of young people coming from rural areas.5. The results of vocational qualifications exams will be improved.6. The participants will learn the culture and tratitional habits of German neighbours.7. The students will develop their communication, social and interpersonal skills.The project actions will be true tools of inter-cultural dialogue, mutual learning and experience sharing to help Zespół Szkół w Różanie become more prestigious and competitive among secondary vocational schools located in Maków Mazowiecki district and in neighbouring districts. The school will be more attractive for young people who have graduaded from junior high schools and have to choose their further way of education.The project will allow the commune of Różan and Maków Mazowiecki district to be promoted and advertised in the whole region.The graduates from Zespół Szkół w Różanie who have taken the advantage of participating in practical training abroad will become more independent, competitive and confident in their effort to find a job and to make their life more satifying, rewarding and fruitfull.The work practice will enable the partners develop, share and test efficient learning processes that originated in European countries. The implementation of a new technology and solutions in vocational traing will improve the quality of school work.Publicing the results of the project will enrich the collection of best practices for the benefits of other schools and educational institutions. Finally, the project will contribute to the popularisation of Erasmus + programme and the participation of Polish institutions in the European Union will increase.
