JA:hr für Europa im Montessori-Kinderhaus
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: Dec 1, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Zuzana Kudzbelová from Slovakia will support the work of the Montessori-Kinderhaus in Leipzig/Deutschland for 11 months. She will attend the paid workers in their daily work and by carrying through festivities and special activities and increasingly overtake own responsibilities in this context and so improve her skills. Practical experience and insight into paedagogical work and lively exchange with the children support her employability and help her in her professional orientation process. Ms Kudzbelová will be assigned to a certain group of 4-6 years old kids whose daily activities he accompanies in the beginning. More and more she'll overtake own responsibilities and carry through small and bigger events supported by the paedagogical staff in which she'll bring Slovakian culture closer to the children (e.g. by singing, dancing, making handicrafts). On top of this, she'll support the numerous punctual festivities in the Kinderhaus and carry through her own EVS project. Through the project, Ms Kudzbelová gains fundamental knowledge of Montessori-paedagogy, in dealing with kids and integrative kids and in project management. She'll deepen her German knowledge and build up international relations and networks by living in an international flat. The hosting organisation gains the perspective of a young Slovakian and the impulses she enters with her cultural background into the daily work with the kids. That will open the perspective towards the rich cultural diversity of Eastern europe. After her return, the volunteer can enter her project experiences as multiplicator into the info-events about Europe and EU-Mobility made by her sending organisation. The coordinating and sending organisation gain reliable partners for future cooperations in the EVS framework.
