The project will take place in an ecovillage in the coastlline of southwest Finland. This ecovillage is an active and growing one, in which many different activities take place. We are 20 to 30 adults and 13 children.The EVS project will begin in the beginning of April and last for seven months. The participants are expected to stay for the whole duration of the seven months.We will host four volunteers from four countries. Two men and two female volunteers. The countries of the four sending organisations are Latvia, Germany, Bulgaria and Portugal.We will select volunteers who have interest in this kind of community life, ecological values, and natural lifestyle, and in the types of work we do here.The volunteers will be working with the residents of the ecovillage community, helping the ecovillage to develop further, and helping with vegetable gardening, other farmwork, building, maintenance of buildings, and other tasks.The participants will benefit from the project in numerous ways, including gaining many kinds of valuable skills and knowledge, creating their networks, and an experience of living in an intentional community.
