This network will consist in a group of case studies that aim to represent the reality of the MW/SUDOE area so that the obtained results can be applied in the management of other wetlands. The MW/SUDOE project objectives are: To develop a tool to support the elaboration and monitoring of Wetland Management Plans in MW/SUDOE regions. To review of the Inventory MedWet Methodology, introducing important aspects to wetlands management and suitable use (legal aspects, social, culture and economic aspects, management and evaluation tools, SIG). To promote the exchange of knowledge and experiences between the SUDOE regions, considering the common methodologies, specially the MedWet methodologies. To contribute to the conservation, management and sustainable use of the wetlands enclosed within the proposed special protection areas (SPA- Natura 2000). To promote the public information and public participation and contribute to the institutional development of partners (interchange, results divulgation). To promote the natural and cultural values of the SUDOE regions by the methodology developed with other Mediterranean partners (MedWet, Ramsar, Natura 2000).
