INVALEAD - izobraževanje osebja za delo z invalidi
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project INVALEAD is intended to fulfil the needs for additional education and training in the field of vocational rehabilitation, training, employment of persons with disabilities (PWD), and social inclusion. The aims of the project are: -to provide new and additional knowledge and skills for professionals working with PWD, -exchange of good practices with foreign countries -dissemination of newly acquired knowledge and skills at the local/regional/national level The aims mentioned are based on the needs for additional education and training that have been identified within the company, as well as in the cooperation with the key external stakeholders. There were six mobilities implemented. Three professional workers participated in the mobility activity that took place in Austria (BBRZ Ö - FAB), whereas 3 workers attended a course Conflict Mediation that was prepared in Denmark by the organisation In Dialogue Netherlands. Substantial emphasis was put on the following areas of interest: -vocational and employment rehabilitation with different psycho-social approaches to working activities related to vulnerable groups, -mediation, conflict management, -psychology and motivation methods, -social work and learning approaches to work with the PWDs. Within the framework of the implemented mobilities the participants acquired indispensable knowledge and experience, they exchanged good practices and obtained an insight into various methods, approaches and structures in the fields of profession relevant for their work. Their abilities for working with and for PWDs were significantly improved together with the work atmosphere in the company. In general, the participants also updated their soft skills concerning the field of colleague coaching, mediation, conflict management, and teamwork improvement. All this had important influence on work environment and their colleagues. Next to that, the participants also had the opportunity to try out and practice their foreign language skills (English, German). Through the internal education methods, new knowledge and skills have been transferred to the company employees. We have also prepared the initial plan of educational contents that will be developed further within the next few months, and then offered to the market in the form of specialised education courses for work with PWDs. The main expected long-term benefits of the project are contained in a selected offer of tailored knowledge and skills that were acquired in the course of mobilities. It is expected that these educational courses will be registered at the Social Chamber of Slovenia.
