In a time in which our society confirm the need to promote an active citizenship and to improve the participation spaces and processes, specially among young people as a way to strenght Democracy, organisations of this partnership have carried out, at different levels, activities and own projects to stimulate and educate in participation their local context and have started working with their target groups: children and young people.We see now the need to exchange practices and to know succesfull experiences of participation carried out beyond our borders, to be able to detect the specific need of our target Group and to obtain with new ressources, methods and skills to improve and innovate in our daily practice as youth workers.To make it possible, we propose to implement two main linked activities: an International training course and the set up of a network of experts on children participation to warrantee the materialization of our objectives and give it a continuity beyond the training course. With a specialized human team, Escola Lliure el Sol, as a coordinator organisation, will lead the whole process and will carry out follow-up and evaluation activities to measure the impact processes, which we expect them to be remarkable among our partner organisation ‘s members but also stimulate other organisation and individuals to engage similar activities and projects.
