The project was based on more than 15 years of experience from similar courses for the Swedish and international markets, developed by the project owner Kairos Future. Together with a strong team of European partners the project took this to a higher level, including new interactive tools for training and including new markets. We foresaw a training program that participants could engage in, in parallel to their regular work. A future strategist is a person who combines his/her own profession with a holistic view of the company or organisation with an outside-in view of the company's operations. The future strategist gains through this project a toolbox for working with future issues and strategy development, as well as supporting visions building. By this, the new profession strongly added to Europe’s development, in gaining new insights and pushing for new frontiers.The future strategist has an ability to move freely between different disciplines, such as HR, marketing, R&D, PR, etc. This profession, in combination with previous experiences, give the future strategist the means of improving the company's performance and thus bringing about growth and prosperity in the European market.Within the framework of this project we developed new teaching methods and teaching materials. The project also developed a new on-line platform for systematic business environment analysis and future trend analysis. By utilising this new platform we ensured a long lasting impact on European organisations and business. The platform provided for a continuous dialogue and knowledge transfer between professions and regions.
