The project aims to modernise academic training in tourism and hospitality using modular courses based on ECTS, advanced practical training and distance learning, with the aim of improving the share of GDP for tourism in RU. To achieve this, academic staff would be retrained at EU universities in FI, PT, EL and LV and develop course modules based on experience elsewhere. The specific objectives are: "• 1.Modification and agreeing of curricula for 2-stages training (Bachelor-Master) in the field oftourism and hospitality on basis of module principle and application of ECTS.• 2. Elaboration of 2 special teaching modules in curricula for teaching of tourism and hospitality (6new and updating of 10 training courses)• 3. Organization of distance learning during one semester for student groups from partneruniversities using the video-conferencing.• 4. Creation of a network of training tourist agencies for applying of practice-oriented training inthe field of tourism and hospitality, development of youth tourism and academic mobility• 5. Organization of work practice for students of Russian and Ukrainian universities at tourist sitesand EU countries universities.• 6. Organization of summer camps for EU students on the base of Russian and Ukrainian partneruniversities."
