"International Dimension" is a project including 3 multilateral exchanges for in total 136 young people from DK, FI, LV & PL. In general the projects are using the participative arts for the empowerment of young people, and the arts are very successfull in involving at the same time both school drop-outs as well as academic young people , who are well off. The exchanges will offer workshops / masterclasses of dance, music, drama, circus etc., and they will all be the catalyst for communication, cooperation and intercultural understanding, which is developing greatly during this kind of projects. The results from the workshops will be shown at presentations for other local young people, and in this way advocate both for Erasmus+: Youth in Action as for international cooperation in general and for using "other ways of learning" in order to include also the young people, who doesn't primaryly learn via learning-styles as looking and listening. "International Dimension" is a project, which is building bridge between the previous YiA-projects hosted by CultHus and a new strategy on how, in a longer term, to involve all young people in international work by developing cooperation with foreign countries, who are not to far away from us, but are having different languages and for most of them also a very different history and due to this a very different actual financial situation, which is very important for Danish young people to experience.
