There will be two volunteers in this project. One is a girl form Spain and the other is boy from Greece. They will come to work in two different small towns in area of Keskipiste-Leader association. The girl from Spain works in a vocational schools dormitory with it’s freetime activator and helps to plan and manage normal freetime activities in the dormitory with the students who live there. She will be in Finland for 10 months. The other volunteer from Greece works in a cultural department of a town council. He will help to plan and manage different kind of cultural events for youth and children. He will be in Finland for 12 months. The main themes of this EVS-projects are rural development and youth leisure. These are because the area is very rural and with the EVS volunteers the youth in this area get close to internationality which they usually don’t have chance. Also the volunteers are mainly working with youth in their freetime so the leisure time activities are in a big role in this project. Idea is to bring the world closer to youth and this way increase their knowledge of EU and also try to get they understand better the differences and similarities of young people round the Europe.
