Project back ground: By changing from regional work area to an European dimension, it is necessary to change our methods of preparing our students for an European market. That's why the competences from our staff needs to be improved. Intercultural competences are interactive competences and an important part of open minded european schools. These competences should be acquierd by intercultural seminars and training courses. Important is that our teachers follow these courses with teachers from other European countries, though the intercultural learning will continue at least during one week and even longer. At the same moment, our participants can eventually find new partners for further projects, to make future exchanges of students, E-Twinning projects or job shadowing. At the same time it's very important for our students that the teachers know of new education methods to teach them foreign languages. Aims: Improvement of methodic, interculturel competences and of competences in project management. The participants should: - agree to follow training programs abroad, - be able to communicate in English - agree to dissiminate the European idea within the colleagues and the students. - be open minded to integrate the European idea in his teaching. Description of activities: Participation at intercultural project mangement courses and at methodic training programs Methods to realize the project: Through the training courses intercultural competences will be implemented in the lessons and through the projectmanagement competence of the teachers the european projects shall be guided. Description of the results and implementatiion: The experiences of the seminars will increase the motivation for intercultural learning and intercultural cooperation and make work with European projects more effective. The training programs will increase the motivation of our teachers for European pojects and this will increase the possibilities for our students for intercultural, linguistic and social competences. That will help our students to be prepared for the request of the European market.
