The project “Interculturalité aux Francas de Dordogne” aims to promote Mobility for Youths in Dordogne and to develop intercultural discoveries. As a federation of most of the leisure and youth centers in the department, we would like to make sensitive children, young people, the affiliated structures, the elected representatives, and more globally, the local population, in the interest of the intercultural opening. This project offers to the volunteer the possibility talk to young people, during offices in high schools, centers information youth or the “missions locales”; and with children, through sociocultural, playful and/or sports activities in connection with her country of origin. The frequent contacts with the young people will help communication and integration of the young volunteer in the French community, and we wish that children and young people of the department can discover another culture and that it will make them want to leave in their turn and live an experience abroad or to take part in an international project. The project begins in September, at the time of the start of the school year in France. It lasts 12 months so the volunteer can participate in the annual cycle of the activities of the association and develops a personal project if she wishes.
