Intercultural dialogue

The volunteer from Slovakia will take part in the project: “Intercultural dialogue”, which will take place in Kirov region, Russia, during 9 months. The main activities of the project - the creation of a sustainable intercultural dialogue through activities on international issues, the development of local tourism with the participation of European volunteers, mutual knowledge of different cultures, the close interplay between the local community. The selected volunteer for the project is Peter Lizák, motivated volunteer from Slovakia with a strong desire to integrate into the Russian culture. The primary activities, involved non-formal education methodology, of the volunteer are: 1. Help and participation in the actions and events organized by the Center team: international camps, meetings, trainings, conferences. 2. Preparation and realization of the foreign language conversation clubs for people to study a language in a non-formal way. 3. In summer volunteers can work in the international workcamps organized by the Center. 4. Preparing and showing presentations for students about participation in international voluntary projects. 5. Besides, volunteers will have a chance to realize their own voluntary projects with help of the Center staff. The project allows to volunteers to take an active part in various activities organized with the support of the hosting organization, as well as implement their own mini-projects. The project has a significant creative, organizational, and social significance. Each event is organized within the framework of the project, has an individual theme that allows you to implement an infinite number of ideas. The project is interesting and attractive for many people from the local community who are unable to travel and appreciate the great opportunity to personally interact with the European volunteers and learn about the cultures of different countries. The project allows volunteers to develop their language skills develop different foreign languages, which is facilitated by experienced teachers. At the same time, each volunteer will be able to share their knowledge with the local community has work to acquaint with their culture, traditions and customs. There will also be an opportunity to volunteer deeply acquainted with the peculiarities of the "mysterious Russian soul" feel like a resident of Russia and immerse yourself in the local culture. Kirov region - one of the most developed and socially active regions of the Russian Federation. Geographic location of the project will allow volunteers really closely and study in detail the features of Russian culture and immerse yourself in the Russian reality.
