PROJECT
FINISHED
This project of a long-term European voluntary service builds on the previous EVS projects in the center of leisure time, Labyrint.
However, it represents expansion of the past activities - our organization wants now to host two volunteers - Hannah Apich from Germany and Natalia Merkushina from Russia.
The main objectives of this project are to :
- continue the EVS in our organization , since this model is proven
- provide non-formal education for EVS volunteers and enable them to know the Czech Republic in all aspects (history, culture , tradition , daily life, work with Czech children and youth , etc.)
- motivate and activate youth in Kladno through the EVS volunteers
- get the public closer to other cultures, enable to learn new things through EVS volunteers
- involve the volunteers to activities of other organizations or schools we cooperate with
The above objectives will be divided between the two volunteers - Natalia is primarily engaged in the work of leisure centers in general ( helping with leading and leadership of clubs and public events ), and Hannah will work mainly on the activities of the Information Centre for Youth ( meetings and conversations with students , multicultural clubs , help with the work of our Publicity Department ) .
We believe that this project will be helpful with getting and improving of key competencies of the volunteers and thanks to our volunteers more people ( especially young people ) will hear about Erasmus+ and the European Voluntary Service. Then young people could also take part in this program. We also believe that citizens of our city will become more natural in relation to foreigners.
