Secondary vocational school (SOŠ), Košická 20 in Prešov will participate in the Project as an applicant and a sending organisation and Secondary vocational school of clothing and services in Vizovice (Czech Republic) will participate in the Project as a receiving organisation. Our main aim is to expand professional competences in the field of new trends in decorative makeup and practising cosmetic procedures in the foreign workplace. The participants of the Project will be represented by 12 students, studying in the 2nd and 3rd grade of the field of study cosmetician and make-up artist, where the number of practical lessons per week is relatively low, only 6 lessons pre week in each school year. Two masters of vocational training will accompany the students. The students will gain new skills and experience during the two-week training in the workplaces of the receiving organization which are designed for cosmetic training, where all common cosmetic services are provided for the public. The students will also have a chance to gain other professional experience, to try out new methods of putting make-up, new brands and products of decorative cosmetics, to compare professional skills gained at school with those practised in the foreign workplaces, to improve competences in the spirit of enterprise and working in teams, to develop their social skills. This Project could be a great opportunity for talented students from socially disadvantaged groups to participate in the vocational training abroad. By realization of the Project we want to support cooperation with a foreign school with a related field of study, to implement gained experience into the conditions of our school and in our region in accordance with the strategic document „ The Concept of the Development of the School SOŠ, Košická 20, Prešov to the year 2018“.
