InterACTive Colors project is a long term project which consists of an advanced planning meeting, a youth exchange and an evaluation meeting. Its mission is to promote social inclusion and active citizenship of young LGBTQIA+ people in society while enhancing cooperation between its partners in the youth field of LGBTQIA+. It will involve 45 young people in the young exchange and 18 youth workers, coming from Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Portugal, Italy, Spain, Romania, The Netherlands and Bulgaria .The project aims:- to involve directly 45 mobilities with fewer opportunities in the APV, the youth exchange coming from 9 European countries- to increase the competences of the 45 mobilities during the main activity- to produce and disseminate in an on line platform, during the youth exchange and beyond, a series of 10 informal educational videos on raising awareness on the LGBTQIA+ topic, for young people between 15-30 years old. - to measure the results of what is the added value of organizing and implementing international projects for LGBTQIA+ youth during the evaluation meeting with our partners from our 3 projects(AR-SYC-IC)- to involve directly 18 mobilities of youth workers in the Evaluation meeting, who work with the LGBTQIA+ community in their youth field.- to increase the competences of the 18 mobilities during the Evaluation meeting.Participants will be coming from the LGBTQIA+ and heterosexual community in an equal representing number, they are in need: to become aware of their identity and self-expression while exchanging new ways and actions of promoting the LGBTQIA+ rights and inclusion in their countries and to create and promote understanding in their local communities through informal education. WYouth workers will be coming from one of the previous projects and are active in LGBTQIA+ organizations and non-formal education and are highly motivated to improve their competences and their capacity building.We will work with media and social media for dissemination as a main working method in the whole project. Especially with building an online platform, participants will come together, exchange, learn by doing, they will constantly reflect upon their learning process and outcomes.We view InterACTive Colors as a unique project, which will have a profound impact to all the individuals participating directly and indirectly to the project. It will achieve its mission by engaging young people into active participation in their societies, starting from the local communities to national and reaching a European level.This impact will be achieved through the results that we will create and actively spread which are: on line platform and informal educational videos, which will last beyond the end of the project to keep spreading their message, booklet on the major role and contribution of non-formal education in LGBTQIA+ topic, manifesto of the partner organizations, additional activities in their countries, documentary with interviews, Open Day Event during the evaluation meeting.The potential longer term benefits out of the project and the results of it, we aim to be that people become aware of the importance of education in creating inclusive societies in which acceptance, respect and equality for human rights for all exists. That people in their own countries become aware of their identity without prejudices, stereotypes or discrimination and become active citizens and influence the civil society.
