Inter.Media - Intercultural Education for Non-commercial Media Work in Europe

Targeting employees (and volunteers) working in the non-commercial community media sector including, in particular, local radio and TV stations, the Inter.Media project developed and tested a series of intercultural training modules. The goal of the project was to encourage community and alternative media providers to promote the active participation of people from disadvantaged social groups. Learning materials were released in the form of a training handbook which continues to be used in the hosting of community media workshops.
