The Grande Thiérache is famous for its agriculture, its countryside and its woods. However, livestock farmers seem to believe that growing grass doesnt pay, and, as a result, the area covered in grassland has reducedsignificantly, which is a threat to sustainable agriculture. Therefore, the partners promote the growing of grass through awareness-raising actions towards farmers. Because the development of economically viable, liveable and environment-friendly agriculture is essential for the Grande Thiérache.
