The organization was born after the learning performed by different young people that participated in an european voluntary project. Before the creation of obre't'ebre in the area there wasn't any organization that worked to help young people to look for an evs. Most people working in the coordinating organization are volunteers.Terres de l' Ebre is a territory located in the south of Catalonia, is a rural area . It has a legacy and an important natural and historical value that identifies with the identity of its citizens. Despite that, it's a peripheral region in the whole of Catalonia, and they have not always been able to correct the structural problems that mean for its inhabitants. On the one hand many young people decide to move out to find a job or study. On the other hand , agriculture, basically planted with citrus and dried fruit has brought many people from other countries to get a decent job although the current economy makes a lot people currently not working . Tortosa is the largest city and cultural center of the region, but also living in a rural area there are a disadvantaged level of communication and educational and cultural opportunities . Currently the city has 23% of immigrant people and a 25% unemployment rate. The projecte “Integration for all” promotes social transformation in the territory through the exchange that offers the hosting of young volunteers in social organizations. The work of young volunteers offered in different host institutions will help streamline and make a difference. The service will consist of working with the most vulnerable groups (children, young people, people with fewer resources or opportunities , etc),it aims to light and also to benefit the users from the contributions of the volunteers . The young volunteers who work in social organizations will facilitate the learning of new skills and experiences to become more participatory and socially responsible at the local level and also to develop their initiative and entrepeneurship in a social environment in which the values of empathy , humility , humanity, solidarity, tolerance and respect throughout the project will be the engine and of vital importance .Three young people from different European countries will participate in the project " Integration for all" (Belgium , Czech Republic and Italy )The profile of the participants are young people between 20 and 30 years with motivation and interest in developing their intra and interpersonal skills , learn and contribute to the development of culture and the social world in all its aspects.n the hosting Punt Jove belonging to the City of Tortosa , one of the volunteers provide support to youth activities and particular attention to young people with fewer opportunities . Another will offer support Caritas Interparroquial of Tortosa in the standard activities of women and people at risk of social exclusion. A third volunteer will offer support in Roquetas Civic Center ( Library, Esplai Xirinxina ) .There will be a theoretical training . The youth will receive training during the start and throughout the project so they can get involved and develop their projects. The obre't'ebre association as coordinating entity will provide training to youth on the social system in the city so they know our ssociety in more detail. In addition, host institutions will also train their volunteers in the organization , methods and systems projects , users profiles , etc.It will also be important that young people attend tto differents courses concerning their work to develop new capabilities. In the course of volunteering is intended to encourage young people to develop their own initiatives and new capabilities and related comptencies related to entrepeneurship. From the organizations will work to achieve these objectives by supporting the volunteer activities autonomously and to help them to develop creative projects accoding to the needs of the organization. As regards institutions and the local community the impact is to learn from European experiences from hosted young volunteers and to help them to apply and innovate new methods at social work.Local volunteers involved in the development of the service (tutors, local youth ) can learn and develop new skills through training promoted by the Erasmus Plus program.Based on the multiplier effect of the experiences that youth that young people live in the local community the benefit has has to move towards youth and organizations involved in the program to build a sustainable and social Europe.
