„INSPIRED BY EUROPE: ACTIVATION“ project is focused on fostering the creativity and the active inclusion of the youth. It builds up the idea that creativity, open social communication and active citizenship are the k-factors for the personal development and successful realization of every young person as well as for the progress of Europe and the EU. The project is using the art as a tool for personal development and expression, for social impact; it contributes to the social inclusion and cultural rapprochement in Europe. The project promotes the active outdoor physical activities and the healthy life style. We envisage two youth mobility activities: INTERNATIONAL YOUTH CULTYRAL EXCHANGE (July 20th ~ August 03rd 2014): 38 participants from 6 EU countries (Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Slovenia and Croatia) will spend together 15 days engaged with creative and open-air physical activities in the beautiful mountain of Vitosha, beside Sofia City and in the shore town Ahtopol. The youngsters will explore and develop through the means of Art the topic of “Active European citizenship and European awareness” and will learn non-formally via brainstorm sessions, discussions, social and creative games etc. The main activities will be distributed into four art-workshops: “theatre”, “carnival and fire performing arts”, “journalism (photography, creative writing, graphical design)“ and “video and multimedia” The project will end with two outdoor public final presentations, presenting the results of the creative work in the workshops and promoting “Erasmus+” programme and EVS in front of wide audience. LONG TERM VOLUNTARY PROJECT (EVS); (01.09.2014-31.08.2015) A group EVS project for activities in the field of Theatre (and related Arts) and civic society development. With the participation of volunteers from 4 EU countries (France, Portugal, Italy and Northern Ireland). Duration: 11 ~ 12 months. The volunteers will be bound up in creative and subsidiary activities, related to the theatrical, educational and art projects of FIRE theatre-art-culture FOUNDATION during 2014 and 2015. Art will be used as a tool for social expression and impact, communication, personal realisation and social rapprochement. The educational methods will be non-formal, targeted on the development of the “21 century’s competences”. We’ll provoke at the most and strive for self-initiative and creativity of the participants and the intercultural dialogue. The activities will be realized in Sofia and its suburbs mainly. We plan also some short trips in other settlements and rural regions of the country as well as promotion of EVS and “Erasmus+” Programme of the EC. „INSPIRED BY EUROPE: ACTIVATION“ project will include young people with different experience and social status who are interested in Theatre and Arts in general. The inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities will be priority. The most significant results of the project will be: the personal and professional progress of the participants; establishment and development of partnerships; capacity building of the involved organizations; promotion and endorsement of the European values; provision of information for the youth and cultural integration The results will be widely spread among the local society, youth and EU NGO’s and will be offered to the large audience through the new technologies.
