Inovation of practical training as a part of European Development Plan Our school is in continual development, continuously searching for the opportunities for improvement, especially to beat the competition not only among educational institutions but in job market as well. The foreign mobilities are very good opportunity for that. Since the establishment of the department in Rimavská Sobota, we have provided and realised various practical trainings abroad and we are also active in projects of Leonardo da Vinci and Comenius. Our main aim is to introduce our students to innovations of vocational subjects: students will organise Days of Spanish and Portuguese cuisine, they will be teacher´s assistants in some lectures. They also will visit other workplaces (departments) of our school. They will create a recipe book as an important part of learning source. With these activities they will learn about the importance of a foreign mobility. Our opinion: Europe has a hope and together with foreign partners we can achieve more. This was a reason why we have decided to join the new programme Erasmus +. Aims: fulfilling the European development plan, innovation of school curriculum, increasing attractiveness of long-term practical training, increasing quality of the vocational education, increasing competitiveness of graduates in the job market, fulfilling the tasks of „Europe 2020“ at school. Number of participants: 26 students and 6 teachers Countries of mobility: Spain and Portugal Activities: Students: long-term practical training according to the school educational programme, courses, proffesional seminars and field trips. Teachers: traineeship, professional seminars, visits of various institutions and vocational schools, workshops and discussions Outputs: 10% of students will take part in the mobility as a practical training but through the dissemination activities of the project the whole school will benefit. There will be common events, professional seminars lead by our students and teachers where various professionals of the area will be invited, job-shadowing in workplaces. The project will be presented to other schools and the regional job centre at the workshop in October 2014.
