The main objective of the project is the adaptation of VET in the textile/fashion sector by elaborating innovative and competitive VET training solutions, in order to react to the changes of the sector, introduce innovation into the sector and to improve the labour market situation of the target groups. Primary target groups are VET teachers and trainers, managerial staff in VET institutions and enterprises, potential users will be students in VET and staff of the sector. Planned results are: a survey with context of the situation in the partner countries, the development of a training model and training courses for the VET trainers, the evaluation of this model, a web site. The main results will be presented in print, CDRom and online, as well as multimedia (DVD, videos, etc). The self-evaluation approach will be an important criterium. The planned short term impact will be to enable the VET training staff to meet the changes in the sector and use the results for their professional activities. The long term impact will be the access to this new instruments for the target groups, users and the VET system of the sector, consequently also a better employability.
