The main goal of InnoNauTICs is to reinforce the innovation ability of the SMEs of the nautical sector through the diffusion of innovative solutions and the creation of transnational initiatives of cooperation that allow the modernization of a key sector for the insular economy in the Mediterranean. A new Technological Platform will increase the knowledge degree of internal competitiveness and strengthen the start-up of pilot actions of the Mediterranean nautical sector enterprises. Achievements: State of the art of project implementation since the project startThe InnoNauTICS project has created an online platform for the tourist and nautical sector for the promotion of island nautical tourism and enterprises, completed by a Nautical Company Catalog and a number of seminars for SMEs and presentations to local agents, related to the 4 pilot projects carried out by partners. The InnoNauTICs project has been launched by a Kick-off meeting in Palma de Mallorca continued by 8 Steering Committees in Palermo, Bastia, Chios, Heraklion, Cagliari, Oristano, Brussels and Palma de Mallorca, has set in motion the -Treaty of Rome Boat-, which has travelled over the participating territories promoting the project and organizing a series of Info Days, has participated in FITUR and other nautical fairs, has signed a Protocol with local stakeholders and has organized an International Forum in Brussels and a Final Conference in Palma de Mallorca.Latest project activities and outputsDuring this last reporting period, the InnoNauTICs project has defined the Global Capitalization Plan of the project for the ulterior definition and implementation of the Local Capitalization Plans. Within the project, an Adhesion Protocol has been drafted and signed between partners and more than 10 local stakeholders from the participating territories. In addition to the completion of the InnoNauTICs platform, a nautical SMEs database has been created in the nautical europe platform with around 450 nautical companies, a Nautical Company Catalog with 36 companies has been elaborated and presented, a Tourist Route for Nautical Development has been defined and an Innovative Ressources Catalogue done partners have completed their pilot projects, have organized local seminars with SMEs and presentations to Association bodies, and have celebrated an International Forum in Brussels and a Final Conference in Palma de Mallorca.Next key steps for the projectNext steps to be taken are the administrative and financial closure of the project through the submission of the last Payment Claim and the Final Report.
