"Inform and be informed" je moto ovog projekta. Cilj je izgraditi kapacitete 5 neprofitnih organizacija iz 5 zemalja u području edukacije mladih u vezi europskog građanstva. Ciljana skupina su 20 trenera čije je područje djelovanja rad s mladima iz ruralnih područja. Zemlje koje će imati prioritet su zemlje koje su nedavno postale članice EU ili zemlje koje još čekaju članstvo, a u kojima je razina informiranosti o prilikama koje pruža EU vrlo niska. Treneri će učiti raditi s mladima iz ruralnih krajeva, te kako prepoznati njihove potrebe i želje. Mladi iz ruralnih krajeva često nemaju informacije o postojećim mogućnostima koje pružaju lokalne neprofitne udruge, koje bi ih potakle da preuzmu inicijativu, razvije vlastite projekte, preuzmu aktivnu ulogu u lokalnim zajednicama, nastave svoju edukaciju i participiraju na Erasmus+ projektima. Tijekom treninga treneri će moći izmjenjivati iskustva, znanje i informacije o radu s mladima iz ruralnih krajeva. S konkretnim primjerima participanti će demonstrirati jedni drugima sve probleme s kojima su se suočili, te način na koji ih riješiti , kome se obratiti za savjet. Trening će trajati 10 dana, i odvijat će se u Outward Bound Croatia edukacijskom centra u Velikom Žitnik, Lika od 6.-og - 15.tog travnja 2015. Slikovito naselje u ruralnom dijelu Hrvatske je idealno mjesto za treniranje trenera kako raditi s mladima iz ruralna područja. Trening će okupiti 20 sudionika iz 5 zemalja - Malta, Portugal, Turska, Makedonija i Hrvatska. Tijekom ovog treninga koristit ćemo neformalne metode obrazovanja, uključujući: skupne aktivnosti, diskusije, debate. Cilj je podići samopouzdanje i motivaciju svakog pojedinca, te razviti timski duh. Dodatna vrijednost ovog treninga je završna radionica koja će se održati s lokalnim mladim ljudima, gdje su treneri će imati priliku primijeniti stečena znanja i vještine. Osim spomenutih neformalnih metoda, sudionici će imati priliku upoznati druge kulture i tradicije, uspostaviti nove kontakte i suradnju i dobiti osjećaj što to znači biti građanin EU. Inform and be informed is the motto of this project. The goal is to build capacities of 5 NGOs from 5 different countries in the area of education of youth regarding the European citizenship. Target group are 20 trainers whose area of work is education of youth in rural areas. Countries of priority are countries that have recently entered EU, in which the level of awareness about the opportunities for youth in the EU is low. Trainers will learn how to work with youth groups from rural areas, how to recognize the problems and identify the needs of rural youth. Youth from rural areas, often lack initial information about the existing possibilities and are not aware of local NGOs that would encourage them to take initiative, develop their own projects, take an active role in their communities, continue with their education and participate in Erasmus+ projects. During the training, trainers will be able to exchange knowledge, experiences and share useful information and tips about work with rural youth. With concrete examples participants will demonstrate to each other all the problems they have encountered, they will show each other how they deal and solve their problems, where to turn for advice and how to reach their goals. The training will last 10 days, taking place in Outward Bound Croatia educational center in Veliki Žitnik, Lika from 06 th - 15th April 2015. This picturesque village in a rural part of Croatia is an ideal place to train the trainers how to work with youth from rural areas. Training will gather 20participants from 5 countries - Malta, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Turkey, Portugal and Croatia. During this training we will use non-formal methods of education including: group forming activities, discussions, debates. The goal is to raise each individual's self-confidence, motivation and team-work spirit. Additional value of this training is the final workshop that will be organized with the local youth, where the trainers will have an opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge and skills. Besides the mentioned non-formal methods, participants will have the opportunity to meet other cultures and traditions, establish new contacts and cooperation and get the sens what it means to be a citizen of EU.
