Individuelle Förderung beruflicher und interkultureller Kompetenzen durch Auslandspraktika - Teil II

It is a major concern of the Hans-Böckler Berufskolleg to ensure a work-orientated education and encourage open-mindedness, tolerance and interest in cultural diversity. The following projects will prepare students from the business, media and science department adequately for the European job market. Approximately 60 students have the opportunity to gain work experience in countries like Poland, Great Britain, Spain, Malta, Iceland, and Norway by being part of international teams, and collaborating on common tasks and projects. Language skills as well social, cultural and content-based competences will be developed and advanced. The students will benefit from this projects by gaining a competitive advantage on the job market because they are acquainted to a variety of innovative work techniques and routines. Teachers will benefit from this project equally in terms of further methodical training and the exposure to a variety of languages in order to ensure bilingualism at school. A further goal is the initiation and deepening of collaborations of fellow organisations, companies and schools within Europe to lay foundations for further projects in the future.
