Approaching the above stated needs and constraints, the project team developed a strategy that integrates the efforts of the teachers and students from both sides of the border for a better and more effective and oriented to practice education. The understanding of the common problems, existing over the border and the determination of both sides for achieving the set objectives were a solid basis for building the follow-up activities and measures. A strategic aim is that a cross-border center will be developed to provide numerous trainings in social and life skills requisite so much in the contemporary labour market. Before this, analysis of social expectations and needs of students will be carried out. Then trainings of teachers and students from both sides of the border will be organized. Teachers will be trained to communicate more effectively with the students, to motivate them and to encourage their personal potential. The trainings for students will focus on coping with aggression; enhancing assertiveness; team-work skills; organizational and leadership skills, communication skills.By improving these life and social skills of young people, a social awareness will be provoked and one of the most significant key strengths of the cross-border region – youth will be provided with enhanced adaptability to all life spheres, including increased competitive skills. Teachers will be enhanced with abilities to motivate students and support their development as well as to be more flexible and satisfied at work thus developing human resources at schools. Cross-border cooperation will be created to help the capacity of the schools as well as the very particpants from both regions in developing their potential to handle different problems by exchanging experience, thus contributing to promoting the principles of sustainable and balanced cross-border development. Innovative models of training and learning will be adopted in the schools, thus promoting life-long learning, as well as higher quality of education.
