The project aims at - Increasing the capacity of the management and reaction of the interventions in the cases of civil emergency caused by natural disasters. Specific objectives: Setting up, by the project end, a monitoring and decision support system for emergency situations related to hydrological and meteorological threats. Implementing an efficient alarming system by the acquisition and deployment of a minimum of 20 sirens, spread in flood risk areas (both in urban and rural areas) that will be triggered by the monitoring and decision support system. Implementing alternative systems – telephonic, e-mail, SMS alerting systems for population and authorities involved in emergency situations management. Main activities: Project Management.
