Opera productions are co-produced internationally, performed in foreign languages with collaboration of foreign artists. Opera houses in particular, have a high institutional capacity for the implementation of transnational and cross-border activities. Also during last decades role of this form of art in creating regional culture increased with innovative projects.Given the role of the opera houses in the development of regional culture and their potential for international collaboration, it is possible to take the joint activities with small community actors e.g. local culture houses, NGOs in cultural field, schools, rural municipalities that will contribute in increasing their capacity in making cross-cultural initiatives based on opera, created within this project. Opera houses are reference centres for small cultural operators and NGOs and with their know-how and experience can easily stimulate trans-border initiatives in SBR and transfer of knowledge.Project result disseminate via created network will have positive effect on insufficient cross-border cooperation of small community actors due to their isolation and low organizational capacity (project provide: network, training, tools and know-how transfer from experienced institutions) and on integration of local partners in creating culture products (project provide professional support of theatres specialists and artists for local actors teams, in the field of organization of cultural projects). Expected Results: The main objectice of project is to increase cooperation capacity of local culture and social operators by creating trans-border and networked opera theatre products. As a result will be created: a model of cooperation operas with local actors - in the area of culture and tools for the participation of these entities in preparation of opera productions.Result of the project is to also increase the availability of international cultural events for residents of the West Pomerania - especially difficult to access opera arts, with special participation of representatives of small towns. Local actors of W. Pomerania, thanks to the project will also receive a handbook of good practices of preparing cross-border initiatives and database of regional entities that have the possibility to international cooperation (creation of a network of potential partnerships).Project in particular will improve the capacity of local entities to establish cross-border partnership in the area of culture. Small entities such as communities, culture centres and NGOs, in spite of interesting ideas, are not able to start intercultural dialogue with institutions on the other side of the border. This results both from financial reasons as well as cultural, organizational or linguistic. Thanks to the initiators of project and partners who cooperating in transregional range, some of barriers will be offset.Project will also improve the current state of access to opera arts - it is assumed to bring opera not only for the sophisticated and familiarized group , but also groups from small towns, i.e. those who do not have an access to the high culture. Currently, this availability is limited in 2 dimensions: financial and artistic (opera for many recipients is considered as unitelligible). Thanks to such project, local actors could develop in international dimension and enrich their connection with the opera.
