The general objective of the project is to strengthen the long-term cooperation between the countries and communities, to motivate two among related activities - the reservation of the cultural heritage and tourism cohesion in the Baltic seacoast border region. This project is the continuation of the above mention partners projects: tho develop the tourism infrastructure, using the natural conditions and cultural heritage. The applicant of the project at Silute district municipality - implemented two PHARE program projects: The cross-boarder creation of bicycle routes system - Nemunas  infrastructure (PHARE 2001 BAS GC/0034) and Silute estate place called H.Scheu Little Lithuania regional cultural and tourism center (PHARE 2002 ESS No.6537909-01-01-0009), which activities and results are directly connected with this project. The partner of the project- the city board of Pruszcz Gdanski according to the PHARE 2001 BAS SPF program implemented the project - The road of amber through Pruszcz which specific objectives are: to prepare the detail plan of the recreation territories that are near the Amber way route, to prepare the feasibility study and the detail plan of the Pruszcz Gdanski footpath and bicycle tourism roads. Their experience in projecting the resort zones near the river and Pruszcz channel will be necessary preparing the technical documentation for the recreation of Silute town historical park territory. The partner of the project - the board of Palanga town implemented the PHARE 2002 ESS project - The complex renovation of the Palanga botanic park, which specific objectives was to stimulate Palanga botanic park and Gintaras museum as the objects of cultural heritage, saving the use for the development of cultural heritage, to strengthen the popularity of the botanic park and to increase the number of incoming tourists, to prepare the project documentation of the Botanic park complex renovation.
