Inclusion Through Inter-Generational Learning about Enterprise and Entrepreneurship
The ITILEE project built primarily upon the experience of the UK applicant in a number of previously-funded enterprise projects aimed at groups disadvantaged in terms of labour market access, in particular older workers. The two receiving partners were in Spain and Ireland. The project aimed to build upon these experiences and the experiences of partner organisations in working to encourage the integration and re-integration of older workers into the workforce and developed a toolkit which can be used to develop enterprise, entrepreneurship and mentoring skills in the target group. The UK partner visited each partner in Spain and ireland and trained their trainers and together they adapted the programme to local conditions. A subsidiary aim was to trained 10 mentors in each of the 3 regions. Long term impact relies on future use by partner centres and adoption by other bodies through dissemination.
