„Inclusion through Arts" was born primarily out of the need of volunteers from organizations belonging to the consortium and of young people from local communities of them to understand the importance of involving in the fight against discrimination, marginalization and hate speech, but also to participate actively and creatively in promotion of the European principles of tolerance, solidarity, cultural diversity, equality and non-discrimination. The project aims to encourage the active participation of young people in fighting against discrimination, marginalization and hate speech, but also in promoting equality, social solidarity and tolerance through visual arts and performing arts.ObjectivesTo promote the importance of social inclusion among the 36 young people from 6 countries, which will participate in the youth exchange and to facilitate social inclusion of 10 young people with inclusion needs.To develop creativity and ability of expression through arts among participants.To develop the initiative and active participation of 36 young people in fighting against marginalization, discrimination and hate speech.To facilitate the exchange and intercultural cooperation among young people in order to develop a visual tool for promoting European principles of solidarity, tolerance, equality and non-discrimination among young people, both after the project and during the project, in Bacău community.The central activity of the project is a youth exchange with countries in the program, which will be held during 08-18/05/2017 in Slănic Moldova, Romania, and will be attended by 36 young people aged between 15 and 25 years of which 10 with fewer opportunities and 9 group leaders from Romania, Italy, Spain, Greece, Poland, Estonia, Sweden and Malta.The project answer to the needs and learning objectives of the participants, especially in the youth exchange, the working sessions being specifically designed to meet those needs, having a participatory character, active and creative, in order to stimulate the active participation of young people in fighting against discrimination, marginalization and hate speech, but also in promoting equality, social solidarity and tolerance through visual arts and performing arts.Among the methods of non-formal education to be used are: socio educational animation (knowledge games, teambuilding games, energizers, icebreaker games, treasure hunt), creative workshops, role play, Photo Animation (Stop motion animation), Forum Theatre Shadows Theatre, Video and Photovoice, Flash mob and other active and creative methods of learning, various games and creative exercises designed to facilitate the transfer of information to participants, but especially to capitalize on the experiences and skills of participants and stimulate the exchange of experience, knowledge, skills and attitudes among young people.Tangible results of the project are: a series of visual tools to promote social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, tolerance, solidarity and cultural diversity and the fighting against discrimination, marginalization and hate speech (6 paintings of 1m x 1m size, 6 videos made through various visual methods, images with messages from Photovoice, etc.); Two plays of Forum theater and two of Shadows theater; An intercultural cultural event to promote European values; A best practice guide with methods used to ensure the multiplier effect of the project; A movie of the project;The project contributes to the improvement of competences and life skills of young people; Develop active participation and intercultural dimension of youth; Develop the initiative of participants to get involved in projects for inclusion, developing a tool for promoting inclusion; Develop attitudes of tolerance and solidarity; Develop transversal competences. The young participants in the project will improve the performance of learning, employability, developing their initiative, and through the methods used will enhance the self esteem and self confidence, will become active participants in the communities they belong, with a better vision on the role of the European citizen (including the assumption of European principles and values) and understanding the cultural diversity.
