In the SEntre is a project that empowers young people and youth workers to become aware of the problems and needs of their own community, to be more active and eventually, to be dedicated in solving these problems using the tools of social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship itself has been gaining interest of media, academia, NGOs and classical entrepreneurs recently, but so far it is never clear to assess where the boundaries of social entreprise end and when it turns into NGO/development aid work or classical entrepreneurship. In the SEntre is a 9 day long training course which brings together 24 youth workers and young leaders from 6 different countries, who will be able to explore the possible use of social entrepreneurship in their own communities and will become more active as citizens. In the SEntre will take place in October 2015 in Nechory, Czech Republic and will be connected to excursions to various social entreprises in Brno.
