The creative project " In the Darkroom " was born from the inspiration of artistic young people - friends from Polish and Czech Republic. Youth fascinated by the theater pursued by L. Mądzik and A. Holland's film "In Darkness " wanted to prepare the show opened for the public. This show would be unusual because in the course of its implementation will be turned off all the lights. This allows each viewer even for a moment feel like a blind person, experience will sharpen the other senses, experience empathy and understanding in relation to people with disabilities, they are blind person. The experience of being in a different space will affect the consciousness of the audience and make the audience will give away the fearbefore the sightless people, they will learn acceptance, support and tolerance for diversity. The project will be attended by young people from urban agglomerations, rural youth from areas of high unemployment and the risk of social exclusion (unseeing, Roma, youth from orphanages). For two weeks, a common integration, music workshops, vocal and theatrical and space to exchange ideas about social issues, participants from the Czech and Polish prepare a final presentation - the joint work will result in display of sound, which is presented in a darkened auditorium for invited guests and journalists, and an exhibition of photographs from the project. Activities will be held at the Youth Center, the headquarters of the Foundation for Development of Culture, Arts and Education "Open Door" in Ostroszowicach.
