Adult Education in Sundsvall Municipality applies for funds to implement a project within the Learning Mobility of Individuals, adult education staff mobility. The Managing Group of internationalization of Adult Education in Sundsvall has the ambition for school leaders, teachers and staff to participate in international clinical courses and conferences. The purpose of this application is that 20 people will get to attend courses and conferences locations during autumn 2016 and spring 2017. The course and conference activities will follow established programs, with opportunities for participants to the "non-program time" maintain relations with other European participants. The desired effect is that new perspectives on education will be acquired and new international contacts created. The participation will strengthen our European identity through the contact with other European partners. Exchange of knowledge and experiences across borders within the EU can help us to develop our region and the local community. We will in this application have participants registered for the following four courses and two conferences / workshops.Area 1 - Title: English Language Training and Irish Culture 2016 in August 8th to August 19th 2016. (Cork, Ireland)It is the first time we notify participants to a course in Ireland, but some of this year's participants have received good references from contacts in various networks they are involved in. Admittedly, there are many events that might help participants after returning home creating interesting discussions on new findings regarding language teaching.Area 2 - Title: Adults Learning Mathematics: Research, Practice and Policy in July 3rd - July 6th, 2016 (Maynooth, Ireland)This is high quality conference and it has a very good reputation. 2015 the conference was located in Washington, USA, with numerous European participants. Our participants have for many years achieved very good results in Mathematics, why the school management sees the conference as an opportunity for both the giving and taking of interesting topic discussions.Area 3 - Title: ICT for Collaborative Project-based teaching and learning in 21-28th August 2016. (Malta)Our teachers responsible for ICT works in a constantly changing business where staff and pupils need support and guidance when introducing new digital tools. The course in Malta is therefore of great importance for participants because the study organizers and participants from different countries carry experience and competence during the course into practice.Area 4 - Title: Addressing Diversity and Equality in Adult Education in October 2016. (Plymouth, England)Operations in adult education is open to all and it has formed several student groups with participants from different countries and many languages. School Management therefore believes it is important that staff are given the opportunity for professional development and experience-sharing in the area of integration. The course in England is an opportunity for teachers in social science to take part in an interesting course.Area 5 - Title: IAEVG conference in 15th - 18th November. (Madrid, Spain)This activity is changing and the conference in Madrid give the participants the opportunity to bring home knowledge of what others are doing / have done, and of course also inform and contribute with our participants' own experiences. Those who will participate have also opened up a request to hold a shareholders' seminar during the conference. The counselors receive during their participation in the conference, great opportunities for informal meetings and networking events, and our SFI-teachers can get inspiration and ideas on how to build up the new field of "professional Swedish", an area that will combine language training with an internship at workplaces. The participation aims to increase the quality of our own operations, internationalization and new ideas. We will evaluate the achievement of objectives by organizing discussions and questionnaires to interested parties. We hope to spread the acquired knowledge within our organization, but also to other schools and partner organizations and individuals at the regional level. We also would like the new contacts with participants from other countries to contribute to the continued development and future exchanges of knowledge - which we consider to be important elements for reaching an international dimension in our own operations ..
